Story Station Content Submission Terms and Conditions

Applicable Jurisdiction: People’s Republic of Bangladesh Effective Date: 12 November 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting any story, text, audio, image, or video content, or any combination thereof (collectively referred to as “Content”), to Story Station and accepting payment for such Content, you (“Submitter” or “Content Creator”) unconditionally agree to be bound by these Content Submission Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not submit Content or accept payment.

2. Story Submission and Full Consideration

2.1 Payment for Content

Story Station agrees to pay the Submitter a one-time fixed fee (the “Fee”) for each piece of Content accepted for publication. The specific Fee amount will be communicated and agreed upon in writing or via digital confirmation before payment is processed.

2.2 Finality of Payment (No Obligation for Further Payouts)

The agreed-upon Fee constitutes the full, final, and complete monetary consideration for the Content and all rights granted and transferred under these Terms.

The Submitter expressly acknowledges and agrees that no further compensation, royalties, residuals, or financial obligations of any kind will be due to them from Story Station, regardless of the Content’s performance, popularity, or the amount of revenue, profit, or earnings generated by Story Station from the Content.

3. Irrevocable Transfer of Ownership

3.1 Assignment of Rights

Upon the acceptance of the Content and the payment of the Fee by Story Station, the Submitter hereby irrevocably, perpetually, and absolutely assigns, transfers, and conveys to Story Station, its successors, agents, and assigns, the entire worldwide right, title, and interest in and to the Content, including all copyrights and intellectual property rights under the Copyright Act, 2000 of Bangladesh.

3.2 Story Station’s Exclusive Property

The Content, including all copyrights, intellectual property rights, moral rights (to the extent legally assignable or waivable), performance rights, and related rights in all media now known or later devised, becomes the sole and exclusive property of Story Station upon payment. Story Station will be deemed the author and owner of the Content for all purposes.

4. Unrestricted Publishing and Monetization Rights

Story Station shall have the full, unrestricted, perpetual, worldwide, and royalty-free right to use, publish, broadcast, monetize, and exploit the Content in any manner whatsoever, without any further consultation, obligation, or consent from the Submitter.

This includes, but is not limited to, the right to:

  • Publish and Distribute: Reproduce, display, and distribute the Content on the Story Station website, associated channel (e.g., YouTube), and all current and future social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, Facebook, etc.) and any other digital or physical media.

  • Monetization: Generate revenue from the Content through any means, including but not limited to, advertisements, paid promotions, sponsorships, subscriptions, licensing, merchandise, and platform-specific monetization programs (e.g., the YouTube Partner Program) without any financial obligation to the Submitter.

  • Adaptation and Editing: Edit, modify, adapt, translate, fictionalize, narrate, create derivative works from, and use portions of the Content in promotional materials.

  • Use of Likeness: Use the Submitter’s provided name, likeness, and biographical information (if provided) in connection with the Content and the promotion of Story Station.

5. Submitter Representations and Warranties

By submitting the Content, the Submitter represents and warrants to Story Station that:

  • Originality: The Content is entirely original, the Submitter’s own creation, and has not been copied or substantially derived from any other source.

  • No Infringement: The Content does not infringe upon or violate the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or any other intellectual property or proprietary rights of any third party.

  • Authority: The Submitter has the full right, power, and authority to enter into these Terms and grant the rights assigned to Story Station.

6. Indemnification

The Submitter agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Story Station, its owners, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  1. Any breach of the representations and warranties made by the Submitter in Section 5.

  2. Any third-party claim that Story Station’s use of the Content infringes on their rights.

7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Content shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bangladesh.
